Note: The "dimensional" weight of a package will be used to determine the shipping cost, where it is greater than the actual weight of a package. Dimensional Weight (KG) - (length x breadth x height)/336. e.g. If the dimensional weight is 5kg and the actual weight is 2kg, shipping charges will be for 5kg = $115.25
Estimated costs above do not include:
- $2 Insurance Cost for each additional $100 item value.
- $3 Repackaging Fee for each additional package over 2.
- Custom fees charged at the Nigerian end, if any.
Please note that we consolidate customer orders where possible to minimize shipping cost. e.g. Two customers with two separate orders of 1kg each would pay approximately $45.23 each for shipment to Nigeria (excluding the other costs above).
Consolidating both orders for shipment to Nigeria will result in each customer paying approximately $62.07/2 = $31 each (excluding the other costs above).
VIA ALTERNATE SHIPPERS(US to Nigeria)
Alternate Shipper #1
Air Freight cost is $5.50 per kg. Minimum Charge is $55 (i.e. for all packages 10KG and below).
Clearing Fee is N250 per kg plus 5% VAT.
Both the Air Frieght Cost and the Clearing Fee are included in OrderBay's invoice. Where there are any other additional "clearing fees" specific to a particular ciustomer's order, the customer will be informed and the amount included in our invoice.
Customers are to pickup their package from the Shipper's office in Ikeja, LAGOS.

Please note that the alternate shipper option is available to customers only in special cases e.g. for heavy items. OrderBay will assess the customer's needs and determine if this shipping option is available for the order placed.
